Smoking and Premenstrual Syndrome

University of Massachusetts Amhurst associate professor of epidemiology Elizabeth Bertone-Johnson reports on her studies that women who smoke are twice as likely to have moderate to severe cramping during premenstrual syndrome. Her work goes on to show that young preteens who smoke are even more likely to develop these issues into adult years.
